What are you doing this summer?

Well, it’s that time of year again. Divine Child students will soon be taking their finals, and then they are out for summer vacation. The year went by quite fast, but many students are just looking forward to the upcoming 3 month vacation. I asked some students what were there for plans for the long, well desired vacation. Freshman Troy Dolkowski will be doing a few different things. “I’m probably going to just hang out with my friends and just relaxing”, says Troy. “I also will be going to a pool many times in the summer. Troy also thinks he should start training for the fall football season. Another freshman Patrick Berryman will be having a mostly busy summer. Patrick will start off the summer by working out, the later going to Detroit for less than 2 weeks, volunteer camp, a trip to Califonia for the entire month of July, and band camp in august. “And after all that, school begins”, says Patrick. Manny Serda, another freshman, won’t be doing much over the summer. Besides hanging out with friends, he might go to Chicago for a while for his sister, so she can try out for American Idol.

Many students seems to be doing many different fun things over the summer.

As for myself, this summer I will be doing a few different things. I will be focusing and having fun with my hobbies, training for the upcoming cross country season in fall of the new school year, and most having fun doing random stuff with my friends and just relaxing.
