People, sports, and sexism.

One issue in the world today is sexism. This involves women’s sports and men’s sports. Not enough people are concerned about women athletes in the world, because they prefer to watch men play sports than women. This makes no logical sense to me. Sports like volleyball, softball, and others are completely ignored because they are considered women’s sports, which ties back to the “women cannot play sports” belief. Some men, and even some women do not know that women play many sports like men. This is considered rude and sexist.  I think some women can be just as talented as men are in all kinds of sports. It is plain silly to think that women cannot do sports men can do.  There are very popular women’s sports leagues and tournaments. Some sports that are considered for women are just completely ignored. Some women’s teams even go to national championships. Women can be very good and talented in sports and so can men, but it doesn’t make sense to think that men are necessarily completely better in athletics than women are.

I agree. Men may be given the best equipment, sponsors, or uniforms. Ask any woman, and she will say it doesn’t matter about all of that(ok it matters, but still not the end-all), it matters who can play the best.
